with Emily Lipman for the third year in a row!! When the clock strikes Midnight we are pulling out all the stops with some killer performances before and during the show plus stunning models will strut the runway in Raw Denim’s Spring fashions!

I am thrilled to be Co-Charing the second annual Raw Love Fashion Show benefiting Wish for Wendy on Wednesday April 25, 2012 from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m. The star-studded event not only features Atlanta’s socialites and trendsetters walking the runway at Opera in Raw Denim to the beats of DJ Mad Flip but also highlights lines from Lady Couture and Luna-C.
The event is hosted by Trey Humphreys and Ace Emerson – a guaranteed 
show stopping, inappropriate performance. The show will kick off with a vocal performance from New York City’s very own Chloe Cahill.
Donations of $15 are requested at the door. The donation goes directly to Wish for Wendy and gets you a Sinless Margarita, bites from Fig Jam (cold shrimp presentation, crudités of vegetables and dip, pork carnitas and tortellini with cheese in a cream sauce), delicious cupcakes from Sugar Lilly Bakery and of course a killer fashion show!

Wish for Wendy, Saturday November 5, 2011 All Day, Starts at 8:30am North Park, 13450 Cogburn Rd, Alpharetta GA I am excited to be personaly volunteering for this event!
A Wish for Wendy is a sixteen-team, double-elimination, co-ed softball tournament. The festivities will be held at North Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. and trophy presentations will conclude at 6:00 p.m. Limited space is available. About Wendy…Wendy Carol Lipman was born December 18, 1970 and passed away January 2, 1971. She died from complications of cystic fibrosis. Back then, there weren’t many treatments for cystic fibrosis. Thanks to events like A Wish for Wendy, donations are leading to treatments and are moving us even closer to a cure. A Wish for Wendy is done in memory of my sister and our wish for Wendy is that people with cystic fibrosis no longer have to struggle with this disease. Wendy’s memory will some day lead to a cure.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and young adults in the United States.
CF causes the body to produce an abnormally thick mucus that clogs the lungs and leads to life-threatening lung infections. This mucus also obstructs the pancreas and interferes with digestion.
The median life expectancy for a CF patient is 37 years.

Thursday February 24, 2011 Emily Lipman and I are co-chairing Raw Love, an evening of Life, Love & Fashion for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We are so excited for the evening we have planned for all of our guests! Tonight we had the fitting for all of our beautiful models that are staring in the Walking for a Wish portion of the event! We have an exciting show planned for you!
Emily & I have a fabulous night in store at East Andrews Courtyard and Raw Denim Boutique from the second you step in the building. We invite you to shop, mingle, drink and nibble on complementary appetizers and sweets from 7pm-8:15pm. Sysco and Sugar Lilly Bakery are kindly donating an array of yummy treats and appetizers!!
We will have an array of silent auction and raffle items! Silent auction items range from photo shoots to sporting tickets to Air Tran tickets. Raffle tickets will be $5 and you will have the opportunity to win great prizes! 100% of the proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The program will begin at 8:15pm with a welcome and thank you from Andy Lipman, a representative of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Crazy Mike from Star 94 will be the Master of Ceremonies for the fashion show!
End the evening with Sinless Margaritas and Shopping! A precentage of bar sales and boutique sales will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

The Surfrider Foundation Atlanta Chapter will be among a stellar lineup of other sponsors: Ocean Conservancy, Plastic Pollution Coalition, Oceanic Society. The world will know landlocked Atlantans understand and care about plastic ocean pollution. At Amuse’um 2011: Imaginopoly, guests dressed in “playground chic” attire will jump inside a board game as they are sent to and bailed out of a VIP jail, try their luck at chance raffles, play casino games, savor theme-inspired fare by Soiree Catering and Events, and dance the night away on a game board dance floor to live music by Yacht Rock Revue!
Silent and live auctions will provide excitement that lasts late into the evening while supporting the Museum’s mission. All proceeds from the evening support the non-profit Museum’s educational programming and outreach.
Kicks for Causes

Kicks for Causes (aka as Kick For A Cure) will take place on February 26, 2011 at Atlanta’s Silverback Stadium. The kickball tournament will benefit Caring for Causes, a nonprofit organization supporting local charities, as well as Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
The tournament is double elimination this year! The tournament will be day long beginning at 9am-7pm, with spots for 64 teams this year. The brackets will be d…ivided into two divisions: Competitive and For The Cause. Registration fee is $235 per team with an early bird special beginning today until January 1, 2011 and $255 after. Registration ends February 15th.
Prizes will be awarded for champions and the winners will direct proceeds to the charity of their choice. There also are plaques given away for top teams plus fun socials awards. Social awards include best 80’s costumes, most money raised per team, most spirited, traveled furthest distance, and much more.
