Hope Fashion Show

The American Cancer Society’s Auxiliary will proudly host its 20^th Annual Hope Fashion Show on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. The Hope Fashion Show is a fascinating and inspirational event dedicated to breast cancer survivors and the memory of those we have lost to this insidious disease.  The event is a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs of early detection, education, patient services, and research.

We are delighted and honored to once again have Belk at Phipps Plaza as our Fashion Sponsor.  We are fortunate to have their support in the fight against breast cancer.  The Hope Fashion Show has been a sell out of more than 600 people in recent years and has raised almost $1,000,000 for the American Cancer Society over the past 20 years.  We will exceed the Million Dollar mark this year thanks to your generous support!

Into the Mystic will play at 6pm and to wrap up your street festival experience, Atlanta’s own ‘Desire’, the best U2 cover band in Atlanta plays at 8:30pm.

BTS is comprised of former members of Atlanta’s own PAYDIRT and TUNAMINT, and NICE GUY EDDIE from New Orleans, LA. BTS was formed in June ’07 and quickly gelled together for their first gig, September 21st 2007 at the 10 High Club in Atlanta. The successful outing would signal the introduction of one of Atlanta’s premiere funk/rock/tribute bands. BTS has become very successful with added opportunity and support. In a short amount of time, BTS has accumulated a very healthy fan base and consider themselves very fortunate for all the love and support.

Steeplechase, an all day affair, celebrates southern culture, horse racing and supporting Camp Southern Ground and The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. The family friendly day is packed with tailgating, children’s games, a hat contest and the most exciting horse race in Georgia.

Atlanta Steeplechase presents the 2011 Saddle Up Soiree to kick off the season of Steeplechase! East Andrews & Poppy’s of Atlanta will host an evening filled with fashion, cocktails, music and southern charm. Poppy’s of Atlanta, the official fashion sponsor of Atlanta Steeplechase,  will start the evening with a trunk show featuring Elizabeth McKay and Skirtin’ Around and Woo Skincare and Cosmetics will be offering complimentary mini-makeovers.
