The “better burger” industry leader is sinking it’s teeth into the Atlanta market, opening it’s first lo
cation Thursday, July 7, 2011 in South Buckhead. Taking the old Fat Burger location, Smashburger, is not only promising the best burger in town but also a full menu with healthy alternatives to the burger including chicken sandwiches and salads.
Named for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers are hand-formed balls of 100-percent—fresh, never frozen, Certified Angus Beef that is then “smashed-to-order” on a flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, Smashburgers are served on a butter toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of real cheeses, the freshest produce, and top-quality condiments.
Atlanta’s Smashburger will feature a regionally inspired menu with Southern flavors 
and inspirations. Menu items include a peach BBQ sauce, Wicked Pimena Cheese, grilled jalapenos and Vidalia coleslaw.
Smashburger is set to be the premiere casual dining concept for everyone, offering a family friendly environment to bring the kiddies or the perfect setting for happy hour with co-workers.
