Monday Night Football All Access

I am very lucky to work for a brand that is always innovating and challenging the traditional entertainment space.  LivingSocial is forming strategic partnerships with epic brands like the Dallas Cowboys.  The last 48 hours I have been going full speed in Dallas for a mini retreat.  One of the perks of this trip was getting to experience Monday Night Football on steroids!  The entire game experience was first glass from field passes to a sick suite. It truly was exciting to experience a world class franchise like the Dallas Cowboys.  Check out my pictures – I was a little picture happy.

Destination Pop Up Restaurant

By now we are used to new restaurants popping up every week. From pizza bars to burger joints to swanky southern fare, Atlanta is definitely earned a reputation as a foodie city. Chefs are starting to step out of the kitchen and surprise and delight with 1-2 day pop up restaurants that offer a unique menu and interactive experience.  Every Thursday a new chef sets up shop in Midtown on the corner of 10th  & Peachtree Street and cooks up an off menu item for lunch.  These unique pop up experiences are catching on almost as fast as the food truck craze.

Last Friday and Saturday, LivingSocial gave Atlantan’s the chance to experience a delicious  5 course gourmet meal prepared by Top Chef Contestant, Eli Kirshtein, at an underground pop up style dining experience.  The 5 course meal was paired with SweetWater brews, one of which was a unique cask brewed specifically for the event. Chef happily named the cask, Two Night Stand.

Guests were  greeted by a LivingSocial Experience Coordinator and directed to enter the waiting area aka a secret Speakeasy until Chef was ready to begin their dining experience.

After a few craft cocktails guests were guided down to the underground pop up restaurant to begin their dining experience!

The five course menu included mussels with fennel, cous-cous  and zucchini paired with SweetWater 420, peeky toe crab and cucumber salad paired with SweetWater IPA, painted hill beef with rutabaga puree and king oyster mushroom paired with SweetWater LowRYEder, blue cheese with miso and yeasty bread paired with SweetWater Two Night Stand and a panna cotta paired with Exodus Porter.

The room was filled with smiles and chatter as Chef made appearances in the dining room to explain each course, mingle and pose for pictures.

A Milestone

I woke up on Saturday morning before the sun. I showered, got ready, packed up my last-minute supplies and jumped in the car. Before I turned the key it hit me that I was about to have one of the biggest days of my career so far. 7 months of hard work and hurdles was about to turn into an epic day for close to 4000k people. This was the biggest event that I have ever spearheaded. I got nervous and excited all at the same time. I looked at my watch, sipped my coffee and knew there was no more time to waste. It was game time!

Saturday truly was an amazing day! I watched our Atlanta team shine as they braved the pouring down rain with a smile on their face and pep in their step.  They created an epic day of beer, wine, music, mud, rain, food trucks and the best damn flash mob I have ever seen!!

I am so proud to work with amazing people and thankful that I get to do what I love everyday! Stay tuned for more pictures and a video. This is just the beginning of LivingSocial festivals in Atlanta!

How can you deny unlimited tastings of 100 different beers and wines for less than it cost for a taxi to the airport.   Cray Cray to the max!!!

LivingSocial (aka me and Marianne) put together a sick day of unlimited beer and wine tasting, live music from the Breakfast Club, corn hole tournaments, a giant dance party with Fit Radio DJs and so much more! Best part is that it benefits One Love Generation!!

My D.C. Adventures

Marianne (my LS Partner in Crime) and I had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. this weekend and work the LivingSocial Beer Fest! This weekend made me fall even more in love with my job. Even though we worked our butts off it was magical to step back and see thousands of people having the time of their lives. Some people say we just plan parties or events but we plan experiences that fill people’s lives with adventures and excitement. I am so grateful to be apart of such an amazing company and get to do what I love everyday.

I wanted to share some fun pictures from the weekend:
