The American Cancer Society’s Auxiliary will proudly host its 20th Annual Hope Fashion Show on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. The Hope Fashion Show is a fascinating and inspirational event dedicated to breast cancer survivors and the memory of those we have lost to this insidious disease. The event is a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs of early detection, education, patient services, and research.
We are delighted and honored to once again have Belk at Phipps Plaza as our Fashion Sponsor. We are fortunate to have their support in the fight against breast cancer. The Hope Fashion Show has been a sell out of more than 600 people in recent years and has raised almost $1,000,000 for the American Cancer Society over the past 20 years. We will exceed the Million Dollar mark this year thanks to your generous support!

Atlanta’s most coveted horse race and social event of the year are right around the corner. Atlanta Steeplechase is Saturday April 16, 2011 at Kingston Downs. Steeplechase, an all day affair, celebrates southern culture, horse racing and supporting Camp Southern Ground and The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. The family friendly day is packed with tailgating, children’s games, a hat contest and the most exciting horse race in Georgia.
Atlanta Steeplechase presents the 2011 Saddle Up Soiree to kick off the season of Steeplechase! East Andrews & Poppy’s of Atlanta will host an evening filled with fashion, cocktails, music and southern charm. Poppy’s of Atlanta, the official fashion sponsor of Atlanta Steeplechase, will start the evening with a trunk show featuring Elizabeth McKay and Skirtin’ Around and Woo Skincare and Cosmetics will be offering complimentary mini-makeovers. Guests will then be welcomed into East Andrews Courtyard for an evening of dancing and sipping the Grey Goose signature Atlanta Steeeplechase cocktail. East Andrews & Poppy’s of Atlanta will donate 20% of sales to the Atlanta Steeplechase beneficiaries.

Motif8 is a new community organization that connects like-minded people who seek to prioritize fitness, fellowship, and faith.
